What's been happening with me.
I haven't posted a Blog in long time but some interesting stuff has happened since then. I am doing some work with a friend who makes and repairs ventriloquist figures. I got to dismantle and refurbish a Frank Marshall "Ricki Tik" figure with him. I removed ALL the paint from it's face before he painted it.
I also put a new leather jaw/neck piece on, get this, a Theodore Mack figure. For those of you who don't know, Theodore Mack and his son Charles were the proprietors of the shop that made Charlie McCarthy! Frank Marshall, a former employee of theirs, later purchased this same shop and he created Jerry Mahoney, Danny O’Day, Farfal and many of the figures that were and are still used by many ventriloquists today.
